Stigma and discrimination are very common experiences for people with mental illness. Because of stigma 40 per cent of people with anxiety and depression don’t seek help. On today’s episode we talk about what stigma means and how people with mental illnesses encounter it in their daily lives. From healthcare to employment and renting we discuss the different ways discrimination due to mental health plays a role. What effect does media have on how people view mental illness?
