The DaintyDysh Podcast

Mar 6, 2019

On this week’s episode we invite social worker Donna Alexander on the show to dysh on mental health and addiction services for Afro-Canadian and Caribbean-Canadian youth through CAMH. The black community is currently grappling with a rise in mental health and addiction. She explains that black youth’s pathway to care is too often through the justice system. She speaks on the visibility and invisibility of the black man. She talks about the stigma of accessing services and communities suffering in silence.
