Dyshing on Social Media and Our Obsession with Stuff
After a night out with the girls and one or two cocktails Onika calls JR at 1a.m. to dysh on historical and fictional figures and how they might use social media if they were alive today. They have a conversation about the effects of social media on friendships and relationships and how this new relationship model is creating a generation of people who lack true connection. Onika and JR continue the dysh when they examine why the Western world is so obsessed with consumerism and obtaining more “stuff.”
