On this week’s episode Faith returns to dysh on ECT. With her diagnosis of Treatment Resistant Depression and Anxiety and after trying 20 different anti-depressants she looked to shock therapy. ECT gives you a seizure after an electroshock to the brain. Faith shares what her experience was with the therapy and the resulting loss of her short term memory. She addresses the stigma around ECT in the media and society. She talks about a new treatment called TMS where magnets replace electricity to the brain.
